General Information:

Haakaa - Hot & Cold Reusable Breast Compression Pad - Designed for maximum comfort for lactating women, these pads are made from 100% environmentally friendly and safe materials. They can be used in both cold and warm conditions, depending on your needs. The pads help alleviate symptoms of mastitis and clear clogged milk ducts.
Warm pads are recommended before feeding to increase milk flow, while cold pads help relieve pain and reduce swelling. Each pad comes with a soft organic cotton sleeve, providing a protective layer between the pad and your skin to prevent irritation. A convenient, portable bag makes it easy to carry the pads and use them anytime, anywhere. Suitable for breasts of all shapes and sizes.

Gel Pads (outer) - PVC, Polyester
Gel Pads (inner) - 61% Water, 35% Glycerol, 4% Carboxymethyl Cellulose
Sleeves - 100% Naturally-Coloured Organic Cotton
Storage Bag - Polyester, Stainless Steel

Usage & Care

Hand wash the compression pads regularly in warm soapy water, or wipe clean with a damp cloth. Wash cotton sleeves by hand with warm soapy water after each use, or machine wash on a cold, delicate cycle.
Maximum Use: Do not use for more than 20 minutes at a time.
Frozen Use:
Keep in the freezer for at least one hour before use. Once frozen, insert each pad into a cotton sleeve before applying to your skin. Do not apply frozen compression pads directly to the skin to avoid ice burns.
Heated Use:
Hot Water Method: Submerge the pads carefully in hot water for 3–5 minutes (do not use boiling water). Drain the water before removing the pads. Once heated, handle with caution and insert each pad into a cotton sleeve before placing on your skin. Do not apply hot compression pads directly to the skin as this may cause burns.
Microwave Method: Heat the pads for no more than 20 seconds in the microwave, ensuring the microwave power does not exceed 700W. Please note that the gel may not heat evenly, so it is recommended to manually distribute the heat by gently massaging the pad after heating. Before use, place the heated pad inside a cotton cover for safe and comfortable application.

Safety Info:

If pads leak, dispose of them immediately.
Do not forcefully squeeze or shake pads at any time.
Do not apply to sensitive skin or open wounds.
If gel comes into contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Storage Conditions:

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of sharp objects, children, and pets.
