General Information:
Haakaa - Colostrum Collector is the world's first product that allows mothers to easily and safely collect and store colostrum during antenatally and postnatally.
In most cases, colostrum is collected in a disposable syringe, which is mostly made of harmful plastic. Haakaa offers a special collector made of 100% medical-grade silicone, which does not emit harmful toxins and safely stores colostrum in the refrigerator or freezer and is suitable for multiple uses. Thanks to its soft, elastic and convenient shape, the collector does not irritate the nipples and promises comfortable removal for mothers.
Each collector comes with a label where you can write the collection date, making it easy to track the colostrum's storage period.

Usage & Care
The sterile collector is packaged individually, with the sterilization date clearly marked. If more than 12 months have passed since sterilization, it is recommended to re-sterilize the collector before use. For repeated use, sterilize the collector by placing it in a sterilizer or boiling water for 2–3 minutes. Hand washing with warm, soapy water or using a soft sponge is advised.
Collection:
Ensure the collector is sterile before use. Gently hold the collector in your hand and apply light pressure to aid in the collection of colostrum.
Storage:
Store the collected colostrum in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Attach a label with the storage date for easy tracking.
Feeding:
The collector's uniquely designed head allows for direct feeding of colostrum to your newborn. Before feeding, warm the colostrum by placing the collector in a bowl of warm water.
Safety Info:
- Do not use a damaged or non-sterile product.
- Avoid overfilling the collector, as it may burst when frozen.
Storage Conditions:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of sharp objects, children, and pets.
